Foundation Cigar Company has announced the return of the Highclere Castle Senetjer as an annual limited release, with shipments beginning this November. Initially crafted to honor the 100th anniversary of King Tutankhamun’s tomb discovery, the Senetjer celebrates Foundation’s partnership with Highclere Castle and the historical ties between the castle and the famed archaeological find.
Named after the ancient Egyptian word for “incense,” the Senetjer comes in a presentation box inspired by the storage boxes in Tutankhamun’s tomb, including a replica of a scarab symbolizing transformation. The cigar features a 7th Priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and undisclosed aged fillers, priced at $33 per cigar, or $396 per 12-count box.
In collaboration with Lord Carnarvon, the current Earl of Highclere Castle, the Senetjer blend pays homage to the Earl’s family history with cigars dating back to the 1920s. The Senetjer is available through select tobacconists across the U.S.
